Each year we sacrifice more freedom, pay more taxes, and endure greater governmental control over our daily lives. I am running for State Delegate because I believe you deserve better, and I believe Maryland deserves better.

For many years, I watched partisan politics in Pocomoke City block common sense ideas and interfere with good management. In return, the citizens of Pocomoke City paid higher taxes and received less service. We lacked planning and vision for a better tomorrow.

Many of us were discouraged and disappointed. We asked, "What can we do?" My friends and family encouraged me to run for Mayor. In five years as Mayor, we have:

• Reduced taxes,
• Increased the tax base,
• Improved city services, and
• Reduced Crime

We did this while maintaining the fiscal integrity of a AAA Bond Rating (the top grade available). We have made planning for our future an integral part of city government.

This was done by working with the entire community, including Republicans, Independents, and Democrats.

Now, with your support, I would like to bring this common sense approach to Annapolis.
